Beginning Monday July 11th the First Castle Credit Union New Orleans District COE Branch will be open for business three days a week with those days being Monday, Wednesday and Friday with the hours the same as they are now. If a banking holiday falls on one of those days we will open the day after or the day before that holiday.
Keep in mind our ATM allows all members to withdraw money from their FCFCU checking account using your debit card for no charge, and you can use our free Remote Deposit App to make a check deposit to your account at any time. We also have an easy to use on line loan application, and our Home Banking app is available on your PC or through your mobile device. And of course our new Kasasa Checking Accounts offer something for everyone!
We apologize if this causes any inconvenience, but these hours will allow us to continue to serve our members and operate efficiently.
Please Remember: Our Credit Union offers all the services you can get at most banks and usually with better rates and lower fees. We are very convenient for all employees here at the District.
Do your Part! Please support YOUR credit union and use our services so we can continue to offer these great products as we do now!

It is that time again. Hurricane season is here and it is best to prepare now for any possible events during the next several months.

Due to the unpredictability of potential storms we are not always in the position to give you advance notice when the Credit Union may have to close. We always anticipate being open for our regular business hours. However, due to inclement weather or a variety of other factors, it may become impossible for FCFCU to open in one or all of its locations. Keeping this in mind, we suggest you take care of all of your financial needs well ahead of any forecasted storm impact. This means whether you do your banking with the First Castle Federal Credit Union or elsewhere.
In the event that we must close, you do have alternate ways to access your funds:
Service Centers– All members can request withdrawals, deposits, cash checks, and make loan payments at the Credit Union Service Center Locations. There are locations throughout the state and the country for you to use. Please call the location nearest where you are for instructions on how to get there and to ensure they are open for business.
Point of Sale Transactions– Use your Debit Card to get cash back for purchases you make at certain businesses. When you swipe your card if you select Debit and enter your PIN you will be given a cash back option. There is no fee for this service.
ATM’s– Use your Debit Card to access your checking account at any ATM. If you have switched to Kasasa Checking, we will reimburse any financial institutions ATM fees up to $4.99.
Get cash ahead of time!
During emergency situations you may not be able to rely on “plastic cards” as phone lines and networks may be down. Be sure to plan ahead and visit First Castle Federal Credit Union or your nearest service center for your cash needs.
Sign up for Direct Deposit if you have not already done so.
With direct deposit you can be assured that your funds will be there when you need them. No need to worry about a lost check that needs to be deposited.
FastFone and Home Banking
Please sign up now for our automated services FastFone and Home Banking. These will allow you to dial into your account using a toll free number (1-800-882-4245) or access your accounts. Home Banking is available to check your balance, pay bills and transfer money as long as you have an internet connection.
Please be confident that we will do everything we can to give you access to your accounts. However, be prudent and be prepared for the possibility that the office may have to close at some point due to dangerous weather. If we must close early, all checks will clear, and electronic and automatic transactions will be posted to your account as usual.
